The partnership
Since the end of 2024, Caribbean Legacy has partnered with the Institute for Human Rights Caribbean Netherlands to establish and strengthen its digital presence.
With the introduction of the Dutch Equal Treatment Act in the Caribbean Netherlands in 2026, the organization faced the challenge of introducing a new public institution while raising awareness about human rights and equal treatment in a way that feels accessible, trustworthy and culturally relevant. Communication needed to resonate with residents across Bonaire, Saba and St. Eustatius, taking into account the diversity of the islands, their communities and the different languages spoken.
Rather than focusing on individual campaigns, the collaboration centered on building a strong digital foundation that would support the organization’s long-term communication goals and public awareness efforts.
Our approach
Caribbean Legacy supported the Institute for Human Rights Caribbean Netherlands in establishing a consistent digital identity across both web and social media. Our work included the development of a social media visual identity, website coordination, content strategy, graphic design, motion graphics, short-form video production, copywriting, content planning and ongoing social media management.
Every aspect of the communication is designed to make complex legal and societal topics approachable without compromising accuracy, neutrality or professionalism. By creating clear, respectful and easy-to-understand content, we help residents better understand their rights, the role of the organization and the support available to them.
By managing multiple aspects of the project, from website coordination and digital branding to day-to-day content creation and communication, Caribbean Legacy provides an integrated approach that allows the organization to focus on its mission while maintaining a professional, recognizable and consistent presence across all digital platforms.
