The project

In 2025, Janssen de Jong Caribbean approached Caribbean Legacy to develop a new corporate video that would showcase the organization, its subsidiaries and the people behind them.

One of the main challenges was the scale and diversity of the group itself. With multiple companies operating across different sectors, there was a risk of overwhelming viewers with information or creating a video that felt fragmented. At the same time, it was important to communicate the organization’s core values, highlight its local impact and demonstrate the breadth of its activities across Curaçao and Bonaire.

The final production needed to serve multiple audiences and applications, ranging from exhibitions and corporate presentations to cinema, social media and promotional campaigns. The video was therefore produced in English, Dutch and Papiamentu and delivered in multiple formats and durations.

Our approach

Rather than presenting each subsidiary as a separate company, we developed a storytelling-driven concept that connected the different disciplines through a single narrative. The focus shifted from explaining what each company does to showing how the various parts of the organization work together to support the islands and the communities they serve.

To create this story, our team visited the different subsidiaries and production locations across Curaçao and Bonaire, capturing footage that represented the full scope of the organization. Construction projects, infrastructure works, production facilities, development initiatives and local employees were brought together into one cohesive visual narrative.

The result was a flexible video campaign consisting of multiple versions for different communication purposes, including trade shows, presentations, cinema, digital advertising and social media. By focusing on people, purpose and connection rather than individual business units, the final production successfully transformed a complex organization into a clear and engaging story.
